Stone design
The stone veneer is a somewhat more complex design. It offers many possibilities.
On the one hand, this design can be used as a wall, but also as a staircase or floor. It is particularly robust and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. This design can also be purchased as wallpaper, but is then not suitable for outside. Another positive aspect is the variety of stones that can be used. There are stones in almost all colors and different structures. So there is something for every taste. Especially the slate look is very modern and durable. However, it must be said that it is very complex and costly to use such a design. The stones, which are already expensive, have to be cut to size and processed in the correct arrangement.
A good example are houses in Hamburg whose facades are made of stone and have been standing for over 100 years.
But is stone or concrete better as a design?
This is a very difficult question and has something to do with taste. If you are more into rustic designs that are easy to make, you should go for the concrete look. However, if you like more natural looks that can be designed individually, you should opt for the stone look. The costly process, which is however also longer lasting, is clearly the stone design.
To sum up, the concrete look is more for the interior of houses. The stone look is more suitable for outdoor use and especially for gardens.
